Events like the Komen Richmond Race for the CureŽ allow the Richmond Affiliate to support Komen's vision of a world without breast cancer and promote the promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowring people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing sciences to find the cures. 75% of our net income will be allocated to breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in Central Virginia. The remaining 25% fund the Komen National Research Grant Program.
